One of Dr. Stohl’s dreams was to take all of his staff to his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah and recently, he was able to do just that! The staff at both Mills River Family Dental, as well as Hendersonville Family Dental, had the opportunity to spend a week in Utah!
We did many activities in Utah that allowed our team to bond, learn, grow, and explore together. We hiked in the snow in Salt Lake City and had a nice dinner together at a country club that Dr. Stohl frequently visited growing up. We also spent the bulk of our time in Zion National Park, hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes in that area.
One of the highlights of the trip is when we hiked to Angel’s Landing, although only some of our team were brave enough to make it to the very top! We also waded through the very cold water in the Narrows. It was freezing but the scenery made the experience worth it! At one point, our team split up and some went on a horseback ride through Zion, while others drove UTVs through some sand dunes. There was hardly a dull moment on this team adventure!
Our team also spent a lot of time in our Zion lodging having open learning discussions about many different topics, as well as playing team bonding games together. We also had the opportunity to listen to an amazing guest speaker, Dr. John Delony, who really motivated us!
The staff here at Mills River Family Dental are so grateful that we have an incredible boss that gave us a unique experience to grow mentally, spiritually, and intellectually, both as individuals and as a team. We had a blast in Utah and are so thankful that we could experience such amazing scenery and activities together!
